Mothers Day gifts from the kiddos!

Breanna and JJ both made Mother's Day gifts at school. They came out adorable, and they were so proud of them. They talked about them all weekend.

Breanna's was flowers that were planted in little clay pots that they had decorated. I told her that we would plant them outside (when it quits raining) so that we can enjoy them for a long time to come.

JJ's present was a dish of potpourri that was decorated to look like and cherry pie. Complete with little red balls inside of it. The potpourri smelled great! It was so cute with his little hand prints on them. There was also a cute little card with a poem on it.

Teehee, my son's class sent home petunias. But he kept them in his backpack from Friday until Sunday. They were in celphane so luckily they survived but were severly wilted. I've managed to save them. Don't you just love the handmade stuff the kids make for you???
