The storm that wasn't.....

Wednesday we were supposed to have really bad storms. The storms did form, and they did come close, but the storm cells split and there was a small column of OK that didn't get hit by these storms. For once we were in that area. We have had huge hail, tons of ran and strong winds in the last 6 months. I did get out and take some pictures of the clouds. They looked different than your normal storm clouds. We had some bubble looking clouds at first and then they turned dark.

You can see the split in the storms here. One went east and the other went south. Both storms produced tornadoes, and very strong winds. I was VERY happy that they decided to skip our area.

Beautiful storm pics! I'm terrified of weather, but then we were IN our bathtub last year (me, Molly, Roy-medical equipment and all, 2 dogs and 3 cats) when a tornado took our roof, our pool, our storage building and half of our house!
btw....I made you crock-pot spaghetti today...it is wonderful!
Take care~

Kansas is sorry that we sent you all of this terrible thunderstorm drama.

We keep getting it from all sides lately haven't we?

Guess that's why us midwesterners are so tough

:)

Good luck with the storms this week.. I hear there is more coming our way!

Glad you escaped the worst of it. Those clouds do look cool. I always wish I could jump on them like in a big bouncy house. Have a great weekend.

Hi Amanda... what part of OK do you live in? My hubster lived in Ada before moving to MI.

Beautiful pics...
