Play Days…..

Well this weekend was a little different than last weekend. This weekend, even though it was over 100 outside, we had a bug to get out of the house and go out somewhere.

We took Breanna to the park. She didn't like the slide too much. I think she got a little scared. She did love the swing though. Jay pushed her for a few minutes. It was really just to hot outside to be out there for very long. So we packed our stuff up and went home.

It did rain Sat night and almost all day Sunday. It actually cooled things off. It was 66 when I walked out the door this morning (it was 6:20am), but the high is suppose to only be about 82. Jay is the happier that it is finally cooling off. He got pretty tired of the 100+ temperatures. It makes his days REALLY long and makes him REALLY tired.

Well I went to the doctor yesterday. Everything is fine. Had to take that yucky glucose test. So it was a legnthy doctors visit. We are scheduled for our 2nd and final ultrasound on Sept 12th. So we get to "see" JJ one more time before we get to meet him. I am pretty excited. Our babysitter if any of you don't know is also pregnant, and due 3 days after me. So we get to talk about all of our doctors visits each morning when I go and drop off Breanna. Our doctors are in the same practice. She is having a girl, she already has a son Braden, and now they will have baby girl Hayden. She is having her ultrasound done tomorrow, so I am a little jealous that I have to wait 2 more weeks. We have also traded a lot of baby clothes. She has sent baby boy bedding and things and I have given her some baby girl clothes. There are a lot of things that I just couldn't give up. It may take me a little longer to be able to let go of some of those cute little baby girl clothes that Breanna was wearing a year ago.

We are ready for the Sooners to play this weekend. We play UAB on Sat night at 6pm. So everyone turn on TBS and watch our Sooners. My parents have enrolled Breanna and JJ in the Sooner Legacy program so Breanna and JJ will be sent little things from OU for the next few years. Breanna in the true Sooner tradition will be wearing her OU gear on Friday. We are going to train her little Sooner mind from the beginning. Last year she wore her little OU onsie each game day. It is just a coinsidence, but my dad will be watching Breanna that morning too, so he will get to see her all geared up.

So last words for this week are BOOMER SOONER!! I'll get pictures of Breanna this weekend in her Sooner outfits. She has several. She has little Sooner cheerleader outfits for game day!! =)

Have a great week!!

Lazy Days………

Didn't have a whole lot going on this weekend. We spent a lot of time at home. Sat night we did go up to Mindy and David's house to celebrate David's birthday. We went to Lake Arcadia again but only for about 45 minutes before we had to go and get ready for David's party.
Sunday we spent the day at home. Just hanging out. Breanna and Mommy took a nap together. Breanna is walking a few steps on her own. She seems to like standing up more and more. Soon enough we will be in trouble when she is running around the house. =)

Small acomplishments……

Breanna brushed her own teeth last night. She spent about 15 minutes doing it, and cried when I took the toothbrush away from her. She did a good job. Wow how fast do they grow up!!

Lake Babies…..

Well this weekend went by pretty quickly. We took Breanna to Lake Arcadia Beach on Saturday afternoon. We went with Jay sister Mindy her husband David and their 3 kids Shayla, Alyssa, and Dylon. Breanna LOVED crawling out on the beach into the water. She had a blast. I got a few pictures of Breanna and Alyssa playing in the water. Breanna decided at one point to taste the sand to see if it was any good. We cooked out hamburgers and hot dogs out on a grill that David and Mindy brought. A good time was had by all.
Breanna LOVES playing in the water "splashy, splashy" as we call it. The beach there has a barrier about 30 feet out and it the water only comes up to Breanna's chest there so she had a TON of room to run around any play.

Nothing new really going on with us. I go back to the doctor in the 28th to take the lovely gestational diabetes test. Nothing to worry about they make everyone take the test. Only one more payment and we will have our portion of the physician's delivery charges paid off YEAH!! =) Have a good week!!

Our week…….

Well lets see last week as you know Breanna wasn't feeling well. It made it's way though our house in it's own way. Jay called me Friday morning and said that he wasn't feeling well and that he thought that he needed to eat something. So I met him at the the hospital that I work at to get him something to eat. He kept that down, but said he didn't feel well. He pretty much slept all day Sat. Breanna and I went over to my parents house for awhile to let the house be kind of quiet so he could rest. We came home about 2 hours later. Jay was still sleeping.
Sunday we woke up and we both felt good. So we decided to go and get some lunch. We were going to Mindy and Davids to go take the kids to the lake. Jay and David went to Walmart to get some ice and I started to feel really bad.
I called Jay and told him we needed to go home. Soon after I was sick as a dog. After about 3 1/2 hours of being sick every 15 minutes I told Jay we needed to go to the Mercy afterhours place so I could see a doctor. I didn't want to get dehydrated and end up in the hospital. We got there about 7:00 and didn't leave till about 9:30. The doctor had to call my doctor to see what they could give me to help me that wasn't harmful to little JJ.
After that shot I wasn't sick again. I did sleep almost all day Monday. I went for my doctors appointment at 11:30. Everything was fine. JJ heart rate was 144 which is normal. I am going back on Aug 28th to do my glucose test.

Let see Breanna is doing great. Talking more and more. She has started to call almost every dog she see's "Dexter". She sings a lot and talks almost all the time. Some of the words we can understand and some we can't. We working on more and more everyday. =)
